Billing App

UI/UX Design, Wireframes, Visual Design, Branding

Brief

Tallan needed a billing app that allowed their finance team to create invoices for their clients. The goal was to conceptualize a design that will enable them to procure all time entries and expenses to create bills. Also, the app needed to have the ability to look up previous statements, pull reports and create discounts.

01

Planning

The first thing is to understand the problem we are solving. I began with reading the business requirements document and interviewing users. Which in this case, was Tallan's Finance Department. The goal was to understand their current process and identify any pain points and patterns. From these interviews, I began to sketch out rough wireframes with paper and pencil. The goal here was to sketch for twenty minutes before moving to Balsamiq.

02

Design

After completing, the sketches, I moved to Balsamiq. When I was designing the wireframes, I think about the user and how they will use this tool. I envisioned different scenarios and used real data to validate my designs. The goal is to find errors early before any development begins.

03

Delivery

After presenting the wireframes to the users and the business and getting their feedback. I moved to Visual Designs where I can show them pixel-perfect representations of the app. This helps the user and business be part of the process and involve them. Never are they kept in the dark.
